The start-up stage at Money20/20 Europe

Our Experiences at Money20/20 Europe 2019

You have a block of lead. You want a block of gold. How to get from one to the other has bothered the alchemists of old. We learned that such effort is pointless. We know more dependable ways to distill money. The formulas have changed: They are written in code and algorithms rather than ink. They manifest inside banking apps, online marketplaces or blockchains rather than flasks in a candlelit laboratory. And they drive thousands of people from all over the world to gather at the Money20/20 conference in Amsterdam just to show, discuss and innovate them.

Our co-founders Natallia Martchouk and Matthias Gall were among those modern “alchemists of finance”. From June 3rd to 5th 2019, they had traveled to Amsterdam. The mission: Meeting with other movers and shakers of the fintech, payment and banking industry.

Our Experiences at Money20/20 Europe 2018

Going to the circus — hard to imagine a more vintage pastime these days.

The digital infotainment industry compels our attention easily, where daring trapezists or wisecracking Augustes would struggle.

The organizers of Money20/20 Europe 2018 didn’t shy away from the contrast. Proclaiming the Greatest Fintech Show on Earth, they paired digital finance with fin-de-ciècle circus arts.

From 4th to 6th June, international fintech and banking companies rolled up in Amsterdam, the new partner city of Money20/20 EU. Among them: A small delegation of invaders from planet trimplement

On Our Way to Amsterdam: Money20/20 EU 2018

Every year Money20/20 conferences come to fintech cities all over the globe. Those events rank among the most important get-togethers for the finance and digital payment market. Stage talks by the who-is-who of the industry, networking areas and business opportunities with more than 1500 international companies — that’s how Money20/20 Europe will be like this year, taking place at the RAI in Amsterdam from June 4th to 6th.

And we will be at Money20/20 Europe as well!

The stage of Money20/20 Asia 2018

Singapore, Fintech City: Our Experiences at Money20/20 Asia 2018

Global finance is not measured in Dollars and Euros only. The Asian Nations are driven to take the lead in technology. They invest in artificial intelligence and robotics, in fintech and mobile payment. Backed by vast economies like China, India, and Japan, Asia will play a major role in the financial area. A clear sign of this growth is the existence of financial conferences popping up all over the Pacific Area. Money20/20 Asia 2018 is the most recent addition to this well-filled list.

We have already spoken about two of them here: Hong Kong Fintech Week and the Singapore Fintech Festival showed us what’s on the horizon for Asian finance.

But we wanted to make it three — only fitting to our company name of trimplement.

In March 2018 we attended the very first Money20/20 Asia conference at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. And it was quite different than our two other trips to this part of the world.

A stage view of Money20/20 US 2017

Money20/20 US 2017 – 3 Days of Fintech

It’s been four months since we had attended the Money20/20 Europe convention in Copenhagen. It was the first time we brought balancr to the attention of an international audience. Looking back at positive experiences there, we felt ready to take a leap forward. It was a leap across the Atlantic Ocean. From October 21st to 24th, we were present at the Money20/20 US. At our own booth, we had the opportunity to introduce our product balancr to a new base of clients. In short, it has been a unique experience for us, but we won’t spare you the details, of course.

The City of Lights becomes the world capital of fintech — and balancr will take part.

From October 22 to 25, the balanc team will attend the Money20/20 at The Venetian in Las Vegas. If you are involved with the financial industry, you likely will have marked that date already: The Money20/20 convention is the biggest event showcasing developments in financial and payment services. As such, it brings together more than 11,000 attendees, including CEOs and leading experts from 4,500 companies and 85 nations.

We will be right where the innovation is: Meet us in Startup City, at booth S31.

Our Experience at Money20/20 Europe 2017

End of June the balancr team had the pleasure of being in Copenhagen for Money20/20 Europe 2017. Organised for the second time, the 3-day fintech conference brought together over 4000 attendees and 200 companies from 70 countries. Making it the largest event focused on fintech in Europe — and probably the only event to have hairdressers and masseurs available for attendees.

We were excited to be attending, as this was our first time attending a Money20/20 event and also the first public event for showcasing balancr. We were looking forward to meeting lots of interesting people from the industry, getting feedback on balancr and also discovering what everyone else was working on.
